Travis Jett
Travis Jett is a Northwest Oklahoma native with a statewide practice focusing on both litigation and business law. Prior to returning to Woodward, Travis practiced ten years in Oklahoma City and was a shareholder at the GableGotwals law firm. He has argued before the Oklahoma Supreme Court, handled both civil and criminal cases in state and federal court, and represented clients before various state agencies including the Oklahoma Tax Commission, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, the Oklahoma Department of Health, and the Oklahoma Ethics Commission. His experience ranges from litigating class action lawsuits to negotiating agricultural leases. Recently, Travis has been involved in oil and gas lien disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and foreclosure suits.
Travis was recently named a Future Star by Benchmark Litigation and has been named a Rising Star in Business Litigation by Super Lawyers . He was also recognized by iON Oklahoma “30 Under 30 Next Gen” in 2013.
Travis is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he served as editor-in-chief of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. Travis received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University in Agribusiness and served as the National FFA President.

CompSource Mutual Ins. Co. v. Okla. Tax Comm’n., 2018 OK 54, 435 P.3d 90 (successfully representing an insurer who had been denied tax rebate).
